Inspirational quotes by Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs has been a person who has influenced me a lot in terms of what he achieved with his talents. He used his full potential, didn’t allow anything to stop him. Never allowed anyone and any life situation to put him down and remained a fighter throughout his life. He was an exceptional human being who inspired many individuals like me to think out of the box and to go for their dreams. Here are a few quotes by this inspirational person, Steve Jobs, which I prefer reading when I encounter obstacles in my life -

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

That’s been one of my mantras – focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.

  1. Staying in India played a good part in writing those quotes for him. Good marketologist, genius I would say…but appart from that genius people usually don’t have saint personality.

    • Everybody have personal problems, he was no different. He accepted that he was adopted and he accepted that he had cancer and he went a step ahead and lived beyond the limitations which stop people from doing what they actually want to do. :)

      • No I meant his personality. You can read stories how he treated people who were with him at the start of apple creation.

        • Yes, I know that but you have to understood that he came from a troubled childhood and later on in his life he rectified himself and improve himself to be a better person. He was a changed person after his marriage and reinvented himself to be one of greatest fighters the world has seen. :)

  2. Great Quotes! He was a real genius. It’s too bad he didn’t get his cancer treated when he was first diagnosed, instead he tried natural therapies that didn’t work. It was a rare form of pancreatic cancer that was survivable if treated early. I’m very interested in pancreatic cancer because that is what my mother had, it’s one of the most terminal types of cancers because it is rarely diagnosed early enough.

    • He was a great human being. I just admire the person for his contributions to the human race, there is so much that he has done to shape towards modern world. He like any human had many limitations but he lived beyond them. He never allowed his limitations to affect the things he wanted to do.

      I’m sorry to hear that your mother suffered from the same disease. Hope some cure for the disease could be found so that lives of so many people can be saved.
